My boss skates pass unreasonable straight to absolutely certifiable, aka “I can defy the laws of time.” This conversation happens in rapid-fire succession with no pauses.

Me: “Okay. I will email him.”

Boss: “Has he responded yet?”

Me: “I am emailing him.”

Boss: “I need him to respond.”

Me: “Okay. I am emailing him right this minute.”

Boss: “Has he responded yet?”

Me: “No, I am typing out the email right now.”

Boss: “He needs to respond.”

Me: “Okay, I just sent the email.”

Boss: “Has he responded yet?”

I sincerely feel like I need to call someone to get her checked out with how delusional this entire conversation was.
