Maybe Take A Steak Break
(I’m a busboy at a steakhouse. A woman didn’t finish her food, so I offer to wrap it for her to take home.)
Me: “How was your meal? Can I wrap up anything for you?”
Customer: “It was excellent. Yes, I’ll take this to go.”
Me: *takes the plate, wraps the food, and returns it to the woman*
Customer: “Will it stay cooked if I put it in the fridge?”
Me: “Pardon?”
Customer: “Do I have to cook it again?”
Me: “You could reheat it if you’d like, but I can assure you it’ll still be cooked.”
Customer: “Okay. Thanks.”
