Don’t Put Baby On The Corner

(My husband and I are at home in the kitchen. We’re both stressed out because we have hit a financial rough patch and money is tight.)

Me: “I’m sorry I haven’t found a job yet, babe.”

Husband: *jokingly* “Time to put you to work on the corner.”

Me: “Babe! I’m not selling my body. Besides, no one would pay to sleep with me.”

Husband: “I would!”

Me: *mouth gaping* “I don’t know if I should take that as an insult or a compliment!”
