Making A Mess Of The Situation

(My long-distance boyfriend and I have just finished a lovemaking session. My apartment is very small and we have made quite a mess with pillows, blankets, and clothes on the floor. I am about to leave for a dance class.)
Me: “I’ll be back in one-and-a-half hours. Will you be okay?”
Boyfriend: “Yeah, yeah!”
(One-and-a-half hours later I return home. My boyfriend is lying on my bed watching TV on my computer. When I step inside, he turns his head towards me and then looks around at the mess in the room.)
Boyfriend: “I thought that you weren’t coming back, so I panicked.”
