Make Them Ask Again, And It’s Avada Kedavra

I’m manning the self-check stations at the store I work at. We keep little bowls of stickers at every register, and many little kids remember this after a few visits. On one such day, a little boy charges over straight to my station while his mom checks out their groceries.

Little Boy: “Can I have a sticker!?”

I try to encourage good manners if it looks like they’re open to it!

Me: “Sure! But what’s the magic word?”

Little Boy: *Intense look of concentration.* “Abracadabra!”

He wasn’t wrong!
