(I was four years old, but I still remember this very clearly. Note that I’m very shy and hardly ever talk, and it’s obvious.)
Me: “Um, excuse me, Ms. [Teacher #1]…?”
Teacher #1: *surprised* “Yes?”
Me: “Can I… can I ask a question about God?”
Teacher #1: *delighted* “Of course you may. What is it?”
Me: “Ummm, when was God born?”
Teacher #1: *color drains* “Um, ah, that’s a good question!” *hems and haws*
Teacher #2: “What’d she say?”
Teacher #1: “When was God born?”
Teacher #2: “Oh, no, you got this one.” *walks away*
