Listening Is The Point
I am helping a customer at my register who is clearly too preoccupied with locating and swiping her debit card to listen to me.
Me: “Do you have a points card with us?”
Customer: “Yeah, but I don’t have the card.”
Me: “Okay, I can look it up with a phone number.”
Customer: “I don’t have that, but I can give you a phone number.”
Me: *Facepalm*
