Kanga-Ruskie
(I am queued up to check into my hotel. Behind me is a young man wearing a t-shirt in Aussie colours (green and gold). Some people confuse Australia with Austria. The t-shirt has a yellow diamond symbol with a kangaroo on it, and the t-shirt says ‘there are no kangaroos … in Austria.’ I laugh.)
Me: “So where are you from? Australia or Austria?”
Man In T-Shirt: “Russia!”
(We both started laughing.)
