Let’s Focus On The Positive Part Of That
A customer called the store asking when to pick up her recently repaired device, didn’t like the tech’s answer, called again hoping for a manager, and somehow got me.
Customer: “What does it take to talk to the general manager?!”
Me: “You’d have to call when he’s here, which will be—” *brief pause while I check the schedule* “—tomorrow morning.”
I then proceeded to answer the other questions she barked at me.
The next morning, she called to complain. Among other things, she told the manager that I was “a helpful smart-a**.”
