(I’m a little baby crazy and my boyfriend is usually very careful not to give me any false hope since I want us both to feel ready before we start thinking about it. As we are eating breakfast one morning I’m just lazily surfing on my phone.)

Me: “Aw, babe, look at this funny gif with the toddler.”

Boyfriend: “Naw, that is cute. I wouldn’t mind having one of those.”

Me: “…”
