(I teach English at a Thai college. My students read out their work to me so I can correct their pronunciation. I tend to just correct as they read so don’t read it all at once.)
Student: “My least…”
Me: “…favourite.”
Student: “My least favourite book is English…”
Me: “…because.”
Student: “…because it is hard to lean.”
Me: “Learn.”
Student: “However I like it because…”
(Student shows me his paper to ask for pronunciation. I burst out laughing.)
Me: “Pretty.”
Student: “Pretty teacher!”
