Learning To Drive: The Purge Edition

I’m getting a ride from a friend in high school. We pull up to a red light and she asks me:

Friend: “Can you turn left on red?”

Before I can answer she looks at the time on her phone.

Friend: “Oh, wait, it’s after 4 PM.”

And with that, she floors it through the light. First and last time I got a ride from her!
