‘Laid’ On The Right Make-Up
(I work as a makeup artist at a well-known skincare, fragrance, and cosmetics retailer. Before every consultation is scheduled, we ask the client a few questions about the type of look they want, or the type of event they’re headed to, and pass this information along to the artist prior to the appointment. My client just sat down.)
Me: “Hey, there! Heard you had a special event going on today?”
Client: “I’ve got a blind date tonight!”
Me: “Awesome! Did you have an idea of what kind of look you’d like?”
Client: “I want to look hot enough to f***, but not desperate.”
(She came back in two weeks later.)
Client: “I got laid!” *thumbs up*
