Killed With Kindness

(This takes place in October, while my mom and I are at the store looking at stuff. I find a plastic scythe that looks like it’s made out of wood. It has skeleton heads on it. I ask my mom for it.)

Mom: “So you can kill me in my sleep with it?”

Me: “If I were to kill you, I will give you a quick and painless death.”

Mom: “Aww, you really do love me.”

Me: “Yes, I do.”

(I did get the scythe along with some spray pink hair dye.)
