He Wants To Fill Your In-Tray

(My boyfriend and I are cuddling and talking about random things, life, plans etc. Even though it’s still a good two months until Christmas, the gift topic comes up.)

Me: “What do you want for Christmas?”

Boyfriend: “Oh, I dunno… but it’s still so far away. Why are you planning this already!”

Me: “Well, sometimes I like to order stuff off eBay and it can take a very long time to come.”

Boyfriend: “Oh, okay. I’ll think about it! So what do you want for Christmas?”

Me: “Some new books would be nice; I have a couple on my wish-list.”

Boyfriend: “I have you on my wish-list!”

Me: *without skipping a beat* “I have you on my to do list!”
