Kids Love The Movies

(This was a couple years ago, when I was 14. I was working with my dad to help film an interview about an indie film. I’m going to keep the actor’s names private.)

Me: *I come up in front of the camera to clap the slate*

Actor #1: “Hey, what’s this kid doing here?”

Actor #2: “What, do we use child labor here?”

(Everybody laughs.)

Me: *stands there sheepishly* “Hehe… yeah.” *I clap the slate and get out of there*

(I got 200 bucks out of it, but it was still pretty embarrassing.)
