Kidding About Making A Family

(I don’t want kids and neither does my sister. My dad has never pressured us about it. I help on a farm and was telling him about an incentive the owner was giving me.)

Me: “So for helping with the cats all winter and volunteers all spring and summer, [Farm Owner] is letting me raise one of the baby goats as my own. Not the farm’s!”

Dad: “Does this mean I get a grand-kid?!”

Me: “Yep! And a heck of a lot cuter than [Uncle]’s!”
