I am a manager of a local drug store. When I was transferred a few months ago, I found that my new staff was severely undertrained and slow to complete tasks.
One day…
Me: “[Employee], can you do [task #1] and then [task #2]?”
A minute later…
Employee: “Wait, I’m confused. What did you want me to do? Both of these things are done already.”
Me: “DID SOMEONE DO THEIR JOB WITHOUT ME ASKING?! YASSSS!”
