(After having a minor fight with my boyfriend, we sit together to talk about it.)
Me: “I am 24. I still live with my family and my boyfriend is a child. That’s what was bothering me.”
Boyfriend: “No, not a child!”
(I start thinking about different moments in our lives.)
Me: “Yes, you’re definitely a child.”
Boyfriend: “-ish. Child-ish…that’s what I am. You know the difference?”
Me: “No?”
Boyfriend: “I’m legal!”
