(In philosophy class, we are studying about sexuality and gender according to Simone de Beauvoir. The classes are informal and we, including the teacher, feel free to talk about anything, sometimes tactlessly…)

Teacher: “Most women have never had an actual orgasm! In fact, there’s a big chance that there are a few girls right here in this classroom that have never had an orgasm! And I see it as my own failure!”

(The whole class takes a moment of silence to adjust what has just been said.)

Student: *with a shock expression* “[Teacher]…?!”

Teacher: “Oh… s***. I… I didn’t mean it that way…”
