Didn’t Pick Up The Literal Words

(I am waiting outside class for the teacher to arrive when a classmate manages to climb through the window of the classroom and unlock the door. Then, he and a few other people pick up another classmate, practically throw him into the room and hold the door shut. A few minutes later, the teacher arrives and the group moves away from the door and they guy walks out.)
Teacher: “What are you doing inside?”
Classmate: “They made me, miss.”
Teacher: “I don’t think they made you. Unless they physically picked you up and put you into that room.”
Classmate: “But they did!”
(The teacher was silent after that.)
