(As my long-term substitute assignment draws to a close, one of the 4th graders comes up to me.)
4th Grader: “You should think about shaving your beard.”
Me: “Why?”
4th Grader: “You just should.”
Me: “Sorry, dude. I think I’ll hold off on taking any advice until you can grow facial hair yourself.”
4th Grader: “I think you’ll be dead by then.”
