It’s Time To Tap Out
(I work in the creative department for a large organization and am the most ‘grounded’ one of the bunch. An order of toner for our production printer has just come in. I’m unboxing the large container, which includes yards of bubble wrap, still all connected.)
Coworker #1: “What is this?”
Coworker #2: “Oh, my gosh, it’s bubble wrap!”
Coworker #1: “Here, wrap me up and I’ll run into a wall and see if it hurts!”
Coworkers #2 & #3: “Okay!
(They proceed to do so, with Coworker #1 spinning around in circles and the other two taping things in place as needed.)
Coworker #1: “Okay! Let’s try this out!” *proceeds to run into multiple walls* “That didn’t hurt at all! I feel like I’m surrounded by a giant bubble… Ooh, I wonder what it would feel like if someone hit me with a car.”
Me: “What?!”
Coworker #1: “Not hard! Just a little tap…”
