The other day, a customer asked me a question that put a crack in my customer service shell:

Customer: “Can I get the steamed mussels, but vegan?”

Me: “Uh… no.”

Customer: “Ugh! This place too! There’s like, no seafood place in this city that caters to vegans! It’s discrimination!”
