It’s A Millennial Mine-Field

(I only need three history classes to graduate, so I skip it Junior year and take the Junior class as a Senior.)

Teacher: *holding up a CD* “Okay, everyone; today we’re listening to The Boss!”

(I am visibly excited, but the rest of the class seems confused.)

Teacher: “You don’t know who The Boss is? [My Name], tell them who The Boss is!”

Me: “Bruce Springsteen! ” *they still don’t look like they understand* “You don’t know Bruce Springsteen?!”

Classmate: “Maybe it’s a generation thing?”

Me: “I’m ONE year older than you!”
