It Was All In Dane Vein

(The currency is in the process of being ‘updated,’ changing the design on all bills and adding one with a new value, and coins likewise. It has just started, so people are excited to see them.)

Me: *in line getting coffee*

Students: *in front of me, talking about the new currency*

Worker: “I have gotten some of the new coins! You want to see?”

(We gather round while the worker picks up a coin and hold it out, beaming. It takes a few seconds for us to realise that it is a Danish coin.)

Worker: *laughs and puts it back*

(Best café staff ever!)
