(I go to my House Tutor’s office to get permission to go out at lunch break to collect my new glasses.)

Tutor: “You can go, but you have to take this slip to reception to sign out and sign in.”

Me: *thinking it’d be a rush as there’s always a queue* “Oh… okay.”

Tutor: “They’d the rules.”

(The deputy frowns at her.)

Tutor: “Them’s the rules.”
