Ironic Shirts

(I have just moved to working in the stockroom, which involves six am shifts. In my defense, I am not a morning person.)

Me: *looking at the insert in the collar of a dress shirt which reads “No Iron”* “Do… shirts… usually have iron in them?”

Coworker: “Oh, [My Name], you’re funny!”

Me: “No, I’m seriously wondering, because it says “no iron” in the shirt!”

Coworker: “No, they don’t.”

(A half hour or so later…)

Me: “Oh, THAT’S why they said no iron!”
