Into Her Good Books With A Bad Book

(There is a ‘Bring-a-Book, Buy-a-Book’ sale on. My boyfriend picks up a book called ‘Millions of Women Are Waiting to Meet You’.)

Me: “Oh, my God! I can’t believe you! You just picked up that book while you’re here with your girlfriend! Put it back you dirty, rotten—”

(I notice that underneath the book he just picked up, is a book on artificial intelligence in psychology. It is the exact same subject I’m doing my thesis on.)

Me: “Whoa! I’m so glad you just picked up that book!”
