In The Customer’s Box Of Tricks, That’s A New One
(I work at a large electronic retail store in a residential part of the city. A lady walks in.)
Me: *casually greets customer*
Customer: *blatantly ignores me*
(I usually think nothing of it; this happens all the time and you kind of get used to it. After a while, the customer asks me for some assistance.)
Customer: *showing me cheapest microwave* “I want that one!”
Me: “Sure, no problem.”
(I grab the box and hold it as any normal person would, and before I even reached the cash register, she has the nerve to say:)
Customer: “Oh, I don’t like the way you’re holding the box; I’m not interested in buying it anymore.”
(She then walked out of the building. Why she did that is still beyond me.)
