(My boyfriend and I have lots of nicknames for each other. This exchange happens early one morning while he is still just waking up.)
Me: *cuddling up to him* “Am I your sweetheart?”
Boyfriend: *sleepily* “Mmmhmm.”
Me: “Am I your Booie?”
Boyfriend: “…yeah.”
Me: “Am I your Popsicle?”
Boyfriend: *now fully awake* “Don’t push it.”
