The phone rings.
Me: “Hello! Thank you for calling [Electronics Store]. How may I help you?”
Customer: “Hi. Can I talk to the electronics department?”
Me: “I’m sorry, but we are an electronics store. Could you be more specific as to the item you are looking for?”
Customer: “Oh, yes, I’m looking for home theatre entertainment audio.”
Me: “Well, we have home theatre that sells televisions, entertainment that sells movies and such, and audio that sells listening devices?”
Customer: “I’m looking for the HP laptop you have on sale.”
I just facepalmed.
