My family and I are from Hungary, but we’ve been living in Germany for decades. One evening, we were watching a movie in English. When my father arrived home, he came into the living room and stood in front of the TV.

Dad: “I’m so tired, I don’t even understand German anymore.”

Then, he went to his bedroom. We had to pause the movie for a few minutes until everyone managed to stop laughing.
