I Just Want Some Money To Love

(I’m at the dinner table with my mother and father. The topic of conversation has somehow shifted to the recent news story about the man who will pay someone $10,000 to find him a girlfriend.)

Me: “He setup a website to find a girlfriend. You submit a bio of your single friends and if he dates your pick for more than six months you get $10,000.”

Dad: “I should submit your mother as a pick. I’d be able to get rid of her and he’d pay me $10,000!”

Mom: “That amount seems a bit low for me.”
