(A student is continually disrupting class by being loud and obnoxious. Our teacher decides to have some fun with him.)

Teacher: “It is very important that you learn the difference between objectivity and subjectivity. Being objective, in this context, means being able to verify the given statements, with evidence. To illustrate, take the statement: ‘[Trouble-Making Student] is a boy.’ If it can be verified with evidence, you could say it was an objective analysis…”

(That boy didn’t cause any more trouble for the rest of the class!)
