You Can’t Beat A Mother’s Supervision
(I just started working as a teacher and am discussing an upcoming field trip with my students.)
Me: “…and then we go back to school so the kids can be in time for lunch.”
Mom: “That’s nice. Who else is going?”
Me: “No one, why?”
Mom: “Well, I meant as supervision.”
Me: “Mom? I’m the teacher. You do realize that I am the supervision, right?”
