Hit With An Insurance Scam

(I am backing out of my driveway when a beat-up car parked next to the driveway suddenly speeds forward. I quickly stop before we collide.)
Driver: *sticks his head out of the window* “You ruined it! You were supposed to hit me! Gosh!”
(I’m assuming he wanted me to hit him and then pay him for damages. He drove off before I could get his license plate, no doubt to try the scam on someone else.)
