(My dad and I stop by a gas station. I go into the store and notice the cashier leering at me.)
Me: “Yeah, so I’ll just take these sodas, thanks.”
Cashier: “Hmm? Oh. Yeah. Sure.”
(The cashier rings them up, eyeing me.)
Cashier: “So, it’s hot outside.”
Me: “Yeah… I guess it is.”
Cashier: “Yeah, it’s like you.”
(I pause. I wordlessly pay, leave, get into the car, and immediately start laughing. It takes my worried dad a minute to figure out what has happened.)
