His Students Are So Square, Part 2

| NM, USA | Learning | January 2, 2014

(This is the same professor from the His Students Are So Square story. He is talking about multi-member district proportional representation.)

Professor: “So we have a nice, square state like Colorado— No. I’ll try to draw New Mexico this time.”

Student: “Draw Rhode Island.”

Professor: “Rhode Island? How’s Rhode Island shaped? I can draw Massachusetts. I’ll draw Massachusetts.”

(He then draws a phallic-looking Massachusetts on the board. Naturally, several students start giggling.)

Professor: “Oh… Oh, god! No. Let’s stick with Colorado.”
