(My professor’s sense of humor tends towards sarcasm and insults, which everyone is used to by now. Today I’m pretty exhausted, so I’m a little slow on the uptake, but apparently I’m not alone.)
Me: “Professor, would you mind helping me with this?”
Professor: *angrily* “NO!”
Me: *stare*
Professor: *glare*
Me: “…So, you don’t mind helping me, then?”
Other Students: *crack up* “You walked right into that one!”
