Her Uncle Is In Pig Trouble

A group of families and small children are at our petting zoo. I am bringing out the piglets and one of the little girls, seemingly no older than five, points at him and squeals:

Girl: “Oh Mummy look… pre-bacon!”

The mother has a pained look and catches my eye.

Mother: “She… uhm… learns some things from her uncle.”

Me: “Haha, I understand.”

Mother: “Just warning you ahead of time. She’s going to be describing almost every animal you got here as delicious.”

The mother was mostly correct, until we got to the end of the day with an eagle show.

Girl: “Ooh… scary chicken.”

Me: *To the mother.* “Funny uncle.”

Mother: “Actually I think that’s one of her own…”
