Her Math Is Week

(One of my friends at work tends to not think before she speaks, which means she comes across as a bit stupid. This is a conversation I overheard her having with one of our mutual friends.)

Friend #1: “My cat’s injections are due, and I don’t know whether I’m going to have them done this year.”

Friend #2: “Why not? Surely it’s better not to stop them?”

Friend #1: “Yeah, but they cost me £50 a year, and I’m not sure if I can afford them.”

Friend #2: “Well, if you put £1 a week into a money tin for a week you would be able to afford them.”

Friend #1: “Really?! Are you sure I’d have enough after a year?”
