Her Ego Is So Fragile It Might POP
(My friend and I work for a pop company where the primary color is blue with some red and white. It’s a holiday and we are building an end cap of 24 packs of pop. The general build is to stack 5-6 high of the best selling flavors. They are pretty heavy and we have to lift hundreds a day during the busy times. We have a cart of 24 packs and we are pulling them off and stacking them on the display. A woman with her husband comes up and says to my friend:)
Woman: “I want a 24 pack of diet.”
Friend: *looks up at the ones he just put on the cap* “They’re right here.”
Woman: “No I want one from the bottom of your cart.”
Friend: “Okay…” *pulls off all the top layers of pop to get to the one she wants — there are probably 10-15 on the display*
Woman: *in a condescending, dominating tone* “Yeah, that’s right.”
Friend: *speechless*
(The husband gives a look of “I am so sorry about her.”)
