(Our teacher is away and another teaching is introducing us to the substitute that would take our class for the day. The substitute has an unusual last name.)
Teacher: “All right, listen up! This is Miss [Substitute], and you will call her Miss [Substitute]!”
Substitute: “Thank you, [Teacher]. But I don’t actually care what they call me; I just really wanted to hear you say my name again.”
Students: *laughing*
(She was the best substitute we ever had.)
