Pain Is All In The Mind
(My boyfriend and I are at home and I have just kicked the table accidentally, I think to myself that it hurt but don’t say anything out loud. My boyfriend calls to me from the other room.)
Boyfriend: “What did you do?”
Me: “What?”
Boyfriend: “You said ‘ow.'”
Me: “No, I didn’t… but I did just kick the table.”
Boyfriend: “Am I being psychic again?”
(This is neither the first or the last time he has read my mind about loads of different things.)
