Got Burned And Not From The Hot Coffee

Like a lot of coffee places, we write the names down on drink orders and call them out when they’re ready for pickup. We have this old creepy guy who is always trying to flirt with the young female staff, to the point where we are all very uncomfortable being anywhere near him.

We have a new coworker who has seen this guy’s behavior and decides she’s not going to spend the summer enduring it. She sees his drink and calls out his name.

Customer: “That’s me, honey. Oh, and by the way, that isn’t usually how women call out my name.” *Wink wink.*

Coworker: “Oh, sorry, I’ll try to sound more disappointed next time.”

He looked like he could almost cry…
