Good Thing They Caught Each Other

(My boyfriend and I are spending an evening at home. We decide to get out his old Nintendo 64 and start playing Pokémon Stadium.)

Me: “Just so you know, my Pokémon are going to kick your Pokémon’s butts.”

Boyfriend: “Do you want to be the very best, like no one ever was?”

Me: “To catch them is my real test. To train them is my cause.”

Boyfriend: “Yeah. We just went there.”
