Going Out With A Total Basket Case

(I’ve recently had surgery on my ankle and am using a knee scooter to get around. My scooter has a basket on it, and I tend to just throw things in that basket. Also, we celebrated my birthday with his family the previous weekend, and a few presents wound up in the basket. My boyfriend has taken me up to his place for the weekend and is now helping me go back home. As he takes my scooter out of the trunk of the car:)

Boyfriend: “Sometimes I question your decisions of what you tote around with you.”

(I look in the basket and see two books, hairbrush, pills, my best friend’s Nintendo DS, the case for my glasses… and two bows from birthday presents from the past weekend.)

Me: “Fair enough!”
