I am shopping for some cake ingredients when this kid and his mom walk by. At the time, I have colored hair.
Kid: “Mommy, Mommy, can I have hair like him?”
Mother: *Laughing* “If we see him again, then God’s telling me that it’s meant to be.”
A week later, I was going to cash a check, and who did I see but them! The mother’s face when we made eye contact was priceless, along with her shuffling her child away before he could see me… or my hair.
