Glad They Catnipped That In The Bud

(My husband has gone out to the garage to allow me time to work on some homework in peace and quiet. He comes back in a while later, to find me feeding our two cats some catnip. After a few minutes, he is going back out to the garage.)

Husband: “Okay, kitties, follow me. We need to let mom work on her homework.”

Me: “Shut your wh*** mouth. The kitties are staying with me.”

Husband: *laughs*

Me: “Good, I’m glad you didn’t get offended by that.”

Husband: *as the garage door slams shut* “You’ve called me worse. Love you!”
